Guinness notes Waseca man as oldest with Down

An 80-year-old Waseca man has been recognized by the Guinness World Records for being the oldest known person with Down syndrome.
The previous oldest person with Down syndrome on record was Peter Davison of Great Britain, who died in 2007 at 68.
She says he received a certificate the day after Christmas from Guinness, and understood the excitement but not the specifics of the recognition.
